A Quote from Plato

A Quote from Plato said:
Be kind
For everyone you meet
is fighting a harder battle
Another version we’ve heard is
“Don’t judge until you’ve walked a mile in their shoes”
AND don’t complain that you have no shoes…look at the person that has no FEET
So and so forth
So many lessons
So many adages
That they become cliches
But do they HAVE to be?
Can’t we really listen to these adages? really learn these lessons? REALLY pay attention?
What does it take to hear the call
To help one another
To be more patient
To…just…be…kind
Tis’ the season of peace on earth, goodwill towards mankind
But let’s not let it end when the holidays are over
Everyone is fighting some kind of battle…and lest you start comparing and get into pity wars, just assume EVERYONE’S battle is harder than yours
Just, please…be kind.
