1. Genres
We accept submissions in fiction, poetry, creative non-fiction, and visual art. Submissions should reflect literary or cultural themes, demonstrate originality, and contribute to meaningful conversations.
2. Language
We accept submissions in Bengali and English. Please indicate the language of your submission in the subject line of your email.
3. Originality
We only consider original, unpublished work. This includes work that has not appeared in print, online, blogs, or social media platforms. Plagiarized work will not be accepted.
4. Simultaneous Submissions
Simultaneous submissions are allowed. If your work is accepted elsewhere, please notify us immediately.
5. Submission Format

Written submissions: Word document (.doc or .docx) or PDF, font size 12 (Times New Roman or Arial), double-spaced.

Artwork submissions: High-resolution JPEG or PNG (300 dpi recommended).
6. Submission Length

Fiction & Non-fiction: Up to 5,000 words per piece.

Poetry: Up to five poems per submission.
7. Cover Letter
Include a brief cover letter introducing yourself and your work. You may include a short bio, relevant writing experience, awards, or other notable information.
8. Submission Process
Email your submission as an attachment to [submissions email]. Include the genre in the subject line (e.g., “Poetry Submission,” “Fiction Submission,” “Artwork Submission”). In the email body, provide a brief description of your submission.
9. Response Time
We aim to review submissions within three weeks. Response times may vary depending on submission volume.
10. Rights
Upon acceptance, Kavya Kishor International acquires first-time publishing rights. Copyright remains with the author or artist. Please credit Kavya Kishor International as the original publisher if your work is subsequently published elsewhere.
