Winter Magic

By Emile Pinet

Fragile flakes with the purest white;
an incredible winter sight.
Like icing-sugar dusting cakes
with the purest white fragile flakes.

Tumbling down on a gentle breeze
Winter’s magic coats barren trees.
And snow is spun into a gown
on a gentle breeze, tumbling down.

With winter white whitewashing all,
soft snowflakes continue to fall.
And countless billions will alight,
whitewashing all with winter white.

  1. Excellent piece of writing Emile.
    I thoroughly enjoyed it as I do with most of your pieces.
