Born in Elbasan, Albania, and residing in Italy since 1995, Angela Kosta is an Executive Director, translator, essayist, journalist, literary critic, publisher, and promoter. Throughout her illustrious career, she has published 24 books, including novels, poems, and fairy tales, in multiple languages: Albanian, Italian, Arabic, French, Korean, Turkish, and English. Her works reflect a global vision, with a particular focus on social causes. The proceeds from two of her books in Italy were donated to nonprofit organizations researching Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and leukemia, tumors, and lymphomas in children and adults.

Angela’s poetic volume, translated by renowned scholar and writer Hasan Nashid and approved by the Bangladeshi Ministry of Culture, will soon be published in Bengali. Her works and translations have appeared in literary magazines and newspapers worldwide, and she actively collaborates with renowned publications such as Calabria Live, Saturno Magazine, Alessandria Today Magazine, Orfeu, Nacional, and Perqasje Italo-Shqiptare, among many others.

As a translator, Angela Kosta has translated 170 authors in bilingual formats (Italian-Albanian), promoting over 600 poets through national and international literary magazines. Her expertise spans beyond contemporary authors, as she has also translated the works of notable Italian classics and Nobel laureates. Angela is also the publisher of 22 MARKERS ON GLOBAL ART (2024) and NUANCES ON THE PANORAMIC CANVAS (2025), having featured and promoted over 85 artists.

Her international influence extends through her interviews with celebrated writers, publishers, and artists. Angela has conducted over 70 interviews published in various languages, showcasing her ability to connect literary communities across the globe.

Honors & Global Recognition
Angela Kosta holds prominent leadership roles, including Vice President of the South Korea Writers’ Association and Ambassador for Culture and Peace in numerous nonprofit organizations worldwide. She is a member of distinguished literary bodies such as the Writers’ League (LSHASH), the Academy of Art and Science America (AAA), and the Writers Capital Foundation, among others.

Her contributions to global literature have been acknowledged in prestigious publications, including La Nazione, Il Messaggero, Il Corriere dell’Umbria, Revista Confidenze, Il Quotidiano d’Italia, and internationally by critics such as Francesca Gallello, Mustafa Gökçek, and El Majjad. In 2023, Angela received accolades as the best translator from OBELISK magazine for her translations of Giosuè Alessandro Giuseppe Carducci and was named Celebrity Woman of the Year by the Moroccan newspaper Akhbar7.

Award-Winning Poet
In 2024, Angela Kosta was honored as Best Poet of the Year by the International Poetry Translation and Research Centre (IPTRC) in China. Her poetry, articles, and translations have been featured in over 150 national and international publications in 2024 alone.

Angela’s impact extends far beyond her written works. She has been featured as the Person of the Month on several magazine covers, including Elitè Magazine (Lebanon), International Literature Language Journal (Michigan), Saturno Magazine (Italy), and Humanity Magazine (Venezuela). Her influence has earned her honorary doctorates from universities across Colombia, Moldova, Yemen, Algeria, Romania, Mexico, and India.
