Bhikitia, the multilingual, community-powered encyclopedia, has announced that its founder, Parvej Husen Talukder, is the new Chairman of the organization. Alongside his chairmanship, he also continues to serve as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Parvej, a renowned Bangladeshi poet, children’s writer, and internet entrepreneur, is now responsible for overseeing Bhikitia’s strategic direction, governance, and financial planning. His appointment marks a significant milestone in Bhikitia’s growth, as the platform moves toward stronger institutional leadership and global outreach.

“As Chairman, I’m committed to guiding Bhikitia with integrity, vision, and a deep respect for knowledge accessibility,” said Parvej Husen Talukder.

The leadership transition comes shortly after the establishment of the Bhikitia Authority—a new volunteer-based governing body formed in May 2025 to promote transparency, accountability, and inclusive participation in decision-making.

Parvej founded Bhikitia on October 1, 2024, with the vision of creating a free and reliable multilingual encyclopedia for the global community, particularly underserved linguistic groups. Born in Jatichar, Sunamganj, he has also made his mark in literature with popular titles such as Chorar Jhalak and ABC’s Rhymes, earning him the nickname “King Rhymester of Haor Region.”

As Chairman, Parvej now leads the charge to ensure Bhikitia’s sustainability, expansion, and impact in the years ahead.
