Derai, Sunamganj – June 7, 2025 — Bhikitia, the multilingual, community-driven online encyclopedia founded in Bangladesh, has officially appointed Muhammad Mamun Ur Rashid as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for a six-month term, effective immediately.
The announcement was made by Parvej Husen Talukder, the Founder of Bhikitia, who recently stepped down as CEO and assumed the position of Chairman and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the organization. According to Bhikitia, the decision aims to bring renewed leadership and strategic momentum to the growing platform.

As CEO, Mamun Ur Rashid will be responsible for overseeing Bhikitia’s daily operations, implementing strategic plans, and enhancing coordination across departments and its global contributor community. He will work in close collaboration with Reduanur Rahman, Chief Technology Officer (CTO); Nasir Mazumder, Chief Communications Officer (CCO); and Shahin Alam, Advisor to the CEO.
Bhikitia emphasized that this leadership transition reflects its commitment to transparency, innovation, and inclusive governance as it continues to grow as a culturally diverse and globally accessible knowledge platform.
