MK Timothy aka Musasizi Timothy Karubanga, is a Ugandan angel investor, serial entrepreneur, and the founder of several companies, including Tim Tech Consults and MK Timothy & Company. In 2010, Timothy founded Tim Tech Consults, an information technology company providing tech solutions and consultancy services. The company grew under his leadership, delivering IT services across various sectors in Uganda.

Recently, Timothy founded MK Timothy & Company, an advisory platform aimed at attracting foreign entrepreneurs to invest in Uganda. The company focuses on showcasing business opportunities, including businesses for sale, and promoting trade and investment prospects in the country. This initiative aims to make Uganda a more attractive destination for international investors by providing them with essential information and guidance.

As an angel investor, MK Timothy has invested in multiple companies, some of which have had mixed outcomes. Notable ventures include:
Homeduuka: An online grocery service that delivered goods to residences and offices in Uganda’s major towns. Unfortunately, the company did not achieve long-term success.
Takeaway Uganda: A food delivery service that later collapsed, despite initial growth in Uganda’s urban centers.
Although some of these ventures were short-lived, Timothy continues to explore new investment opportunities and is committed to supporting startups in Uganda’s evolving business landscape.
