Today marks the 20th birthday of Parvej Husen Talukder, a Bangladeshi poet, children’s author, and tech entrepreneur. Born on August 23, 2005, in Jatichar, Derai Upazila, Sunamganj District, Parvej has made significant strides both in the literary world and in the field of technology.
Parvej’s journey began at the age of 15, when he started publishing his poems and rhymes in national and regional newspapers. His creative work earned him widespread recognition, and he became known for his unique style, including being crowned “King Rhymester of Haor Region” in 2021.
However, Parvej is not only a literary figure but also a tech innovator. In 2020, he founded Kavya Kishor International, a global literary organization, and later co-founded WikiGenius, Bangladesh’s first open wiki-based platform for sharing knowledge. In 2021, he launched Bhikitia, a multilingual online encyclopedia aimed at making knowledge more accessible. These digital initiatives showcase his ability to blend technology with his passion for education and literature.
Currently, Parvej is pursuing a degree in Computer Science and Engineering at Sylhet International University, further strengthening his technical expertise. His digital works have not only made a mark in Bangladesh but also globally, contributing to the growth of open-source platforms and online knowledge-sharing.
