For Mother’s Day

This was our last 4 generation picture.
Cherish your mothers while you can.
Mom left this world some years ago, 90 years after her life began.

How I miss my mother so,
Tho’ I know she had to go.

I wish I could still hug her and share with her my heart.
The 1st one to love me unconditionally,
Supported me from the start.

How I miss my mother so,
Tho’ I know she had to go.

Her arms would hold me for awhile,
For everyone she had a smile.
If she had a phone up in heaven, my number I know she’d dial.

Tho’ I know she had to go,
How I miss my mother so.

Your mom, like me, too, may not be June Cleaver,
The ideal one you see on “Leave it to Beaver”.
But Please still cherish your mother,
She’s One who’ll love you like no other.

I’ll always miss my mother so
But in my heart she’ll NEVER GO.
