6. Submission Length: For fiction and non-fiction, we prefer submissions up to 5,000 words. Poetry submissions may include up to five poems in a single document.
7. Cover Letter: Along with your submission, please include a brief cover letter introducing yourself and your work. Feel free to include a short bio highlighting your writing experience or any relevant information.
8. Submission Process: To submit your work, please email it as an attachment to our submissions email address. In the subject line, indicate the genre of your submission (e.g., Fiction Submission, Poetry Submission). If you are submitting artwork, please include “Artwork Submission” in the subject line. In the body of the email, provide a brief description of your submission.
9. Response Time: We aim to review all submissions promptly and provide a response within 3 weeks. However, please note that response times may vary depending on the volume of submissions received.
10. Rights: Upon acceptance, Kavya Kishor acquires first-time publishing rights. The copyright remains with the author or artist. We kindly request that you acknowledge Kavya Kishor as the original place of publication if your work is subsequently published elsewhere.
