Carlos Javier Jarquín (born June 26, 1990, in Rancho Grande, Matagalpa, Nicaragua) is a Nicaraguan writer, poet, columnist, cultural journalist, music producer, and cultural activist. He currently resides in Costa Rica. Over the years, he has established himself as an active and influential voice in contemporary Latin American literature, building bridges between cultures through poetry, journalism, and international literary collaboration.

Carlos Javier was raised in a modest environment by his maternal grandmother. He did not meet his mother until he was 14 years old, nor his father until he was 21.
