Kabi Shahin Alam Celebrates 27th Birthday

Sylhet, December 31, 2024: Today marks the 27th birthday of Kabi Shahin Alam, a distinguished figure in Bangladeshi literature and music. Born on December 31, 1997, in the Ghasitula area of Sylhet, Alam has gained widespread recognition as a poet, lyricist, author, composer, and actor.

Alam first captured public attention with his lyrical genius. His song “Koliza Angar,” released under the Assam-based music label Matir Khacha, quickly became a favorite among listeners. Another of his creations, “Tumar Photo,” sung by UK-based artist Akik Haroon, achieved viral status on platforms like TikTok and YouTube.

Beyond music, Alam’s literary contributions have been widely appreciated. His poetry is regularly published in online news portals, reflecting his profound influence on contemporary Bengali literature.

In addition to writing, Alam has also explored acting, appearing in various content-based dramas since 2020 on YouTube channels. His versatility has made him a prominent name in both literary and performing arts.

Alam pursued his education at Brihattar Ghasitula Jamia Islamia Alim Madrasa and UCEP Ghasitula School. Later, he completed his higher secondary studies at Sylhet Government Technical School & College, blending both religious and technical education.
