In a sovereign moment, God may love the seas,
Nothing less than owls or laboring teddy bears-
But I think of your sweet love, sweeter than a dove,
As you swear with hugs, kisses, and genuine tears!
I never wrestle with my age, like a sage,
To make you think we do love and live-
Rather we move forward a thousand or million times,
And delight our souls well without rolling our sleeve!
With life and love, blessed from the God above,
I like riding back with forlorn time or a full tide-
And close my eyes under the brooding skies,
Or take shelters beneath the rainbow to hide!
I may sit spell bound, at a bus station of Greyhound,
And stay quite still to offer you a pleasant surprise-
But I know well, you won’t surrender your body or face,
To anyone, even with a heart bigger than the Texas’ size!
A childish grace, embedded with an IQ trace,
Looms in your soul without a yawn or sigh-
And I dwell merrily in your loving fragrance,
Beneath your alien pride and glorious sky!
Now I wonder about you, and our days left behind,
As we anxiously count to reach the heaven’s shore-
But remember, God only knows about that sovereign moment,
And will push the trigger to commemorate the exit and more!!
