Sadat Hossain is a young Bangladeshi writer who started his career with photography and later on proliferated it as a filmmaker and author. His novels were the best sellers at the ‘Ekushey Book Fair’ in recent years. He won the best ‘Filmmaker’ award with the short film ‘The Shoes’ in ‘short film festivals 2016’ organized by Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. He also achieved the award of Junior Chamber international in the category of cultural achievement for his outstanding creation of short film ‘Bodh’ and book ‘Janalar Opashe’ which is termed as ‘Ten Outstanding young personalities in Bangladesh’ [2013] . He also won the SBSP-RP Foundation Literary Award 2018.
So far he has written around 10 books including poetry and photography. Most of his works dealt with the perception of life, human relationship, feeling, passion and contemporary social patterns.
