Bleeding Lines
It is the gentle stroke of the pen
That which is hidden behind the tongue
When the point touches the paper
The words bleed
A sweet attachment to the thy ear
It is the gentle stroke of the pen
If the sweet words could be announced before written
When the point touches the paper
The flesh of the words bled sweet nothings
And the voice from the pen specks volumes
When the pen causes the words to bleed
The tip strokes a very lovely song
Sweet lips traces the bleeding words
Each tone spoken with dignity
It is the gentle stroke of the pen
That causes the bleeding lines.
