  1. Shah Abdul Karim (1916-2009) is a folksinger, lyricist, Mysterious poet and composer was born at Dhalasrom village of Derai upazila of Sunamganj district in 1916. His father Ibrahim Ali was an agriculturist.

    Growing up in poverty and hardship, Karim started expressing his thoughts and emotions musically from very early age. Ektara, a traditional single string instrument has been his constant companion. At the age of 12 he studied for sometime in a night school at his own village. But he learned from nature.

  2. Parvej Husen Talukder is a Bangladeshi Young poet, children’s writer and literary editor. He is the founder of Kavya Kishor. He is called the king rhymester of haor region from mid-2021.

    His Father Md. Abul Kashem Talukder is a village doctor and Mother Sultana Parvin is a housewife. He is the eldest of five brothers. He had Pass the Primary Education Completion Examination in 2016, from Gachia Government Primary School and obtained Junior School Certificate in 2019 & Secondary School Certificate 2022 from Gachia Shamsuddin Sikandar High School. Now he is Student of Sylhet Science and Technology College, Sylhet. Parvej’s Published Notable Books: Chorar Jhalak, The Imperfect Desires of Life.
