Spring By Ali Imran

When spring hesitates
to arrive in its early weeks
the nearing sun’s fresh rays
bask the days
but the evening cold winds
just sweep away
the touch of warmth
on the people of clay
while buds, leaves
crop growers
crazy lovers , poets
frozen boughs and ossified rocks
crave Nature’s balm
on the winter’s hidden wounds.
The first stanza of the poem on Spring.
