LET ME

Abu Forhad

Let me get back to the sun
That was spun
Out of my dream — our emotion
Or
Let me get back to the day
That was never at bay
But full of flowers, and of sun ray
Or
Let me get back to the womb
The tranquil sea of whom
Was never ever meant to doom
Or
Let me get back to the river
That still goes and keenly shiver
That let me stop never — never
Or
Let me get back to the nipples
And
Let me get back to the peoples
And the stream that still ripples

Or
Pave me a way to the land
I dream
For I was borne to the world
As a stream
