Manzar Hussain Akhtar’s Poems.

Poem 1:

IN THE MIRROR OF DREAMS

I beheld the visage of seconda
Nestling her head on wish rest,
Seemed as if sensation of sunshine had textured her contours
Her nature was manifested by emotional traits
Her drive on time ride was a natural continuum
Indifferent with sun and rain
She decored herself in the mirror of dreams
Years in and years out
She dressed new garb
Her soft parlance served to sequence events to quantify
The duration of events over centuries
She was distinguished to celebrate a command performance

I beheld the visage of seconda

Poem 2:

ANNALS OF TIME.

When time learnt to move
Moment was its first step.
By and by shaped in centuries
Sprawl to eternity, the untiring moments
Reach the destiny,
The exhausted souls
.
Poem 3: SUN KISSED THE WALL

Dreams imbued in the forbidden lands of an eye
Summoned an uprising.
Life under unknown skies
Ornamented cascades of a new mode
Sun kissed the wall
and fixed the pulsations
………………………………………………….
Poem 4: DIALOGUE WITH A SCHOLAR

Your streamy contentions,
Your contrariety a water course
Knows no reality— that
It configures both shams and strife
In the holy heart pursuit…..or
Shifting grounds
Moving through paths and pastures
These wrangling waves strike head on
So time and words fall
Perceptions fade out.
…………………………………………………………………………………………………………

Poem 5: CEASE YOUR CINISTER SPELL

As night hawk wends her wild ways
to the frontiers of grey horizon
Dreams die of frost
Lips get zipped up.
The trembling poor soul un weds her own shadow
and creep up the nooks.
The plague of darkness……..
The floating carcase of moon in water

Tomorrow is an omen
A cry is in quest of hearing
Lilth! Cease your cinister spell
As wind carves image on sand.
……………………………………………………….

Poem 6:
Guarding the diminishing time.
…………………………………….
When the eyes made a wish for dreams
The vision blurred
When the feet learnt to move on
The shivering caught hold of entire body
Years back
While the sun shone at its full
Under the lush green trees
shadows were sweet
Those trees looked like great companions.
Who knows
What has happened to my timeline
I have started feeling scared of shadows of eve
When I have a look at my own house
That gives me a feeling of someone else’s house
