Redwan Ahmed is Nominated for Children Noble Prize 2022

Teenager Redwan Ahmed has been nominated for the International Children’s Peace Award-2022 for working against child marriage. A recommendation has been sent to the Netherlands Government’s Peace Rights Committee to nominate him for this award. For children it is known as Children’s Nobel Prize. Redwan himself confirmed the information on Tuesday (October 25). In the interview, he said, yesterday, Monday 24 October night, I got to know about this from the website of Kids Rights Foundation. I applied for the award on ‘Child Marriage’.

Redwan, a Boy of Itauri village from  Baralekhar, Moulvibazar, Bangladesh has given the SSC examination this year. Redwan Ahmed works as a child journalist for BDNews24 and UNICEF. Also working on the climate justice movement with Youth Net for Climate Justice.
